Walking around in Shanghai
Today I didn't havent any goal and I just walked around and browsed shops. The day started at 12 and I met up with Daniele and his co-workers and ate in a Chinese restaurant. I selected a beef nudle soup that tasted ok, but it took forever to eat with sticks :), I am not good with them yet. After Breakfast, (yes I know I started the day very late but I blame it on jetlag =) ), I went out and walked in a random direction to check out what Shanghai has to offer. As you can see in the picutres below I took a coffee break and you can also see that there are very beautiful streets with many ppl. I was also in an large electronic store with 3 levels and there were lot's of digital cameras, video cameras, TVs and lot's of other electronics stuff. The prices are some cheaper than Sweden but if I ask one of Danieles Co-workes to come with me I can get the price down maybe 30-40% and then it's cheap, like 400 YUAN for an Olympus Digital Camra with 4x optical zoom.
In the evening me and my friend should go to a tailer to see how much it cost to make a toxido. It took like an hour to find a taxi in the roush hour and when we got one the taxi the driver told us the store closed at 5 Pm. So we went and ate instead. This time I orded Catfish, it tasted ok, but they don't put out the bones so it was a lot to spit out. Daniele ate a chicken that we thought was warm but it was cold. As you can see in the picture the chicken are served with head, feets and everything.
After that we went to a chinese supermarket and there we saw Vodka for 5 YUAN!! Thats is what I call cheap!
Tomorrow I will try to go to the Shanghai museum and in the evening we are gonna hit the Shanghai pubs to see what they have to offer two good looking guys like us! ;)

i'm glad you tried the fish and the chicken. you should savor the fish bones as well, they can be tasty! just think like a kitty :P need to see a report on your pub adventure
